The Selection- Update

Ok so I decided to talk about this book. I have not yet finished it, I just thought I should tell what I think about it so far.

I am so in love with this book at the moment and I'm so jealous of America! I want to have that with Prince Maxon, he just sounds so so amazing. I have a literary crush on him.
Oh I have currently read over 100 pages today!! Whoo!! I'm very proud of myself.

Obsidian Review

Obsidian is AMAZING!!!
Or I think anyway.

Jennifer L Armentrout wrote an AMAZING novel, Katy moves to West Virginia right before her senior year of high school, and doesn't look forward to change. She moves next door to Daemon and Dee who are twins, with drop dead gorgeous looks and bodies. Daemon is exceptionally rude the first time him and Katy meet.
The way Jennifer L Armentrout wrote this was exceptional, left you wanting more Daemon in the middle of the book but let the scene get interrupted correctly enough not to leave a cliff hanger, but you still wanted more Daemon. The ending didn't give you the idea that the author was tired of writing, but yet wanted more. Just to clear the air Patch (Hush,Hush) has some serious competition. I seriously thought I wouldn't find another character that I would want to be in love with more, then I found Daemon.

Yes, I just went there. All I have to sum this book up is that this it is just flat awesome sauce.
Rating: I give this book ***** stars. I absolutely loved this book.

Update On Things

Sorry I've been gone so long my computer messed up, I also haven't uploaded any videos.
So my first update is that I finished City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare and it was amazing. I won't do a review because it is the sequel and it has a lot of spoilers. I am giving it a five star rating though because it was amazing and was a well written sequel. *****

My second update is that I also finished Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout. This book kept my attention VERY well, the author defiantly knew what the readers wanted and came so close to the edge and changed it. I finished it very quickly and loved every minute of reading it. Daemon, he has set up a race between him and Patch from Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, which is also an amazing novel by the way, this novel was just amazing in my opinion. The story its self is really just plain but throwing Daemon into the mix kept your attention and then when you find out what Daemon is all about you just fall even more into head over heels lust.

I have currently started Crank by Ellen Hopkins. I have heard so much praise for this novel and decided to try reading it. I am just kinda reading not far enough to tell you how much I might enjoy this book.

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare Review

This is my written review of City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. I had heard some mixed reviews of this book, I guess it was an either you love it or you hate it book. I loved it, I give it 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 stars. ★★★★★
City of Bones is about Clary Fray who lives with her mother who is an artist, and she is a single mother. Clary's bestfriend is Simon Lewis and she has a tendancy to drag him to the all age clubs, where she one night sees a murder, or what she thought was a murder by three teens all covered in long dark tattoos. She might just need those odd marked teenagers more than she wants to believe, their names are Jace Wayland, Isabelle and Alec Lightwood. Well even though I just finished this I am not the greatest at summarizing things, and also there are too many spoilers for me to not mention one.
I very much so enjoyed this book, it goes on my recommendation list for anyone who enjoys supernatural, and action, there is defiantly enough of that in there.

The Saga of Lucy McGregor by Johnnie G. Love Review.

This book was written by a local author in my home town, it was so amazing. Well written, and definatly  has emotion behind it. I felt the emotions off the main character the whole time, also had a few of my own. My mom read this and loved it, along with my grandmother. Lucy McGregor is defiantly worth the time and money, you will not regret reading it. A HIGHLY under rated book. A fast read. Just flat out amazing.
The only complaint I have about this book is the editing, it wasn't professionally edited, and some grammatical errors. They could have been better if someone else read it before she published it, no other complaints.

Nightshade By Andrea Cremer Review

Which cover have you seen? Purple? White? Exactly why I put both pics.
So since Youtube hates me, I am posting my review of Nightshade on my blog. So here goes.
I saw the purple cover at Walmart, but didn't get it. So when I got home I researched it, and found out a little about the book and the series. 2 weeks later was Christmas, I got Barnes and Noble gift cards (OH YEAH!! SCORE) and with the Barnes and Noble gift cards from my birthday and Christmas added together I had about $100 to spend there (MIND BLOWN!). So the first week in January we hit up the bookstore. Now since people had just bought Christmas and went to use their giftcards, money, etc; It was slim pickings. Not for me! I had a huge stack in my hand and walked out with Nightshade, and Wolfsbane (the 2nd book)in my hand.
I love Nightshade, loved the whole thing and didn't want it to end. But it did. The whole love triangle between Calla, Shay, and Ren. It grabbed your emotions (even more so in Wolfsbane to) and not really tugged at your heart strings but you didn't know whether you wanted to be Team Shay or Team Ren. It tells you that on October 31 Ren and Calla are to be married to start another pack by bringing theirs together. They have known this their whole lives. As you keep reading you, along with the characters, begin to question what they have been told their whole lives about their packs, leaders, and history. I recommend this to anyone, especially if you like a troubled love story shall I say, or you just want some wolf action.

The Fallen & Leviathan by Thomas Sneigoski

I started reading this book about.... I'll say January. Not to be blunt, but it was one of the most boring books I've ever read in my life. I didn't finish it til about May, and I don't take more than 2 days to a week and a half at the most to finish a book. For me it was a very slow read, and what I mean by this is, most of the time while reading this I didn't want to put it down, but when I did, I had no urge what so ever to pick it back up. So finally I had to force myself to read it, literally. For those who enjoyed it, I'm not in anyway slamming your choice in literature, but I do have to wonder how you got into the book. Sorry if I have offended anyone with this blog I'm simply stating my opinion, and if you don't like it well get over it and don't leave a hater comment.
