Rule by Jay Crownover | Review

So I just finished this and I'm trying to make sense of my thoughts right now. Bare with me.

Shaw and Remy were bestfriends until he died but she'd been in love with his twin brother, Rule, for years. Rule is Rule. He does whatever he wants and if you don't like it, screw you.

That's all I want to give away about this. Rule is my 2nd favorite new adult novel.

The POV alternates between Shaw and Rule throughout the whole book but it's done really well.

I did feel that the relationship and everything was forced and instalovey. It also sort of goes with the background because they'd been in each other's lives for years. So it's debatable.

Shaw was a good, strong female character. She wasn't portrayed as weak even with her family situations.

Rule was her opposite, personality wise, but they both had family struggles. I think that is what makes them a good and bad pair.

I did feel somethings in this book were slightly cliche, as with most romances. Sometimes it felt like a fanfiction but it was a good fanfiction.

I gave this 4 stars
****

I'll be back soon with another review or video! In the mean time you can check out my other media and find out what I'm doing. Later Loves.
